My work has always been about helping people to connect with their own divinity. Spirit School of the Intuitive Arts helps me share some of the wonderful gifts I have been blessed with in this life.
I've had intuitive abilities for as long as I can remember. As a child I could hear people's thoughts and I often knew when something would happen before it actually did. When I was nine years old an incredible golden white light appeared to me one night. There was an angel in the light and I felt an indescribable love. The angel told me that I had a work to do in the world and never to give up on life. As the angel was leaving, I reached out and actually felt its robe in my hand.
Years later, when I opened to my abilities, I understood what the angel was talking about. Once I found my own teacher I learned that my abilities were given to me as a ministry, as a way to be of service. I prayed for help in giving people more than just information about themselves, but true guidance. In response to these prayers, the method to connect with a person's soul was shown to me by Spirit.
The experience of soul I'm referring to is vast, luminous, wise and incredibly loving. It is the divine, eternal part of ourselves. When we connect with our soul, we not only get guidance, we also are filled with divine love. My fondest wish and life's work is to help as many people as possible to be empowered by having a direct and on-going connection with their soul. A magnificent abundance of gifts from Spirit flow out of that relationship, and that's what Spirit School is really about.

I had been a friend, colleague, and client of Christen's for many years. In 2000, we decided to join forces to create our first "Healing the Heart" workshop. This combined my strong skills as a polarity bodywork instructor with Christen's incredible intuitive gifts. The class proved to be such a profoundly moving experience for both our students and ourselves that we continued to teach chakra-based "esoteric polarity" classes for the next two years.
In 2002, Christen asked me to join her in the co-creation of our Integrative and Advanced Studies courses. These curriculums provide students with many tools for personal growth and intuitive guidance. We use touch and body awareness to learn to "listen" to what our bodies tell us and to integrate and heal. I feel truly blessed to be part of Spirit School. The relationships that Spirit School fosters with one another, oneself, and Spirit provide incredible nurturing, growth and support.
In 2002, I completed renovating an old pole barn into a fabulous healing and yoga retreat which serves as Spirit School's home base for Integrative and Advanced Studies courses. The "Polarity Barn" offers spectacular views in a serene and beautiful pastoral setting. We all receive the healing and inspiration that the space and natural surroundings have to offer us.
I have been studying and practicing the art of polarity therapy and bodywork for over 20 years. I also have a master's degree in Educational Psychology. My practice supports individuals on their path of healing and awakening. It is my deeply held belief that the soul wants a conscious experience of its completeness - its Truth - while living in a physical body. I offer meditation classes, Reiki, and Intuitive Readings.
From 2000 - 2003, I participated in the School for Women Healers with Sheila Foster and studied Samyama Meditation with Adhikari and Cathy Myrowitz. I have a B.A. in German Studies from Boston University and an M.A. in Linguistics from George Mason University. I am married with three children and live in Takoma Park, MD.

My goal with each session is to work with my clients in a loving manner, to support them in learning about their soul's purposes and to realize the healing power that resides within them. The more we align ourselves with our soul's potential and learn about our relationship with our own energy and the energy we carry in the world, the better we are able to be in partnership with our own healing. This also helps to facilitate the healing of those around us.
I graduated from Spirit School the Advanced Studies core group in December 2003 with the Practitioner of the Healing Arts certificate. I completed the Teacher Training Program and I am happy to be teaching Foundation classes in the Baltimore area. I have been practicing Reiki since 1999 and received my Advanced Studies initiation in 2003. I am an Associate Polarity Practitioner and I will be a graduate of the two year Creative Choices Astrology Program in October 2006.

From an early age Spirit prepared me for various family losses with precognition of such events and since that time I have had the desire to understand healing and disease from a spiritual perspective. Being married and raising three children has surrounded me with the teachers I've needed to inspire me to heal myself, on a shared journey, for which I am eternally grateful. My intention is to be of service mentoring others on their search for inner truth and guidance, creating balance in the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual levels.
I have a Master in Science in Botany and Plant Pathology and have been studying Alternative, Traditional, and Complementary Medicines for over 20 years. I am an Advanced Studies Practitioner in Spirit School of the Intuitive Arts and am currently in the Teacher Training program. I've studied Homeopathic Medicine for over 20 years, teach classes and have led Homeopathic Study Groups in the past. I studied with many teachers; Rosalyn Bruyere, Robin Murphy, ND, William Rand, and numerous Native American teachers. I am an Integrative Studies Practitioner of Holographic Re-patterning, a Usui Reiki Master Teacher and a Karuna Reiki Master Teacher.

I have completed all levels of Spirit School of the Intuitive Arts, and have graduated as a Practitioner of the Healing Arts. I am in the Teacher Training Program and will be qualified to teach Foundation classes in March 2007.
I believe in the Oneness of the mind/body/spirit and the uniqueness of each individual. My aim is to facilitate wholeness and well being in individuals by utilizing a variety of methods designed to educate, empower, and enliven personal awareness. My intention is to assist individuals to better understand their life experiences and the choices they make. My primary modalities include intuitive readings, intuitive bodywork, energy work, drum circles, and education.
My current practice integrates my training in Intuitive Guidance, Reiki, Healing Touch, and Craniosacral Therapy into my intuitive bodywork sessions. I am also available for Intuitive Readings. I am a Usui and Sekhem-Seichim Reiki Master Teacher and a Karuna Reiki Master. I draw on my unique educational and professional background including 25 years of experience working in hospitals and as a pharmacist. After graduating from the Virginia School of Massage in January 2000, I left my career as a Pharmacist to devote my time and energy to my heart's calling: personal transformation of my client and myself. My style is warm, nurturing, and compassionate.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Spirit School of the Intuitive Arts Advanced Studies graduate (core group) and Reiki Master. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work.
I have been in private practice for over 20 years. Currently my practice moves beyond the recovery phase of psychotherapy to a discovery phase of personal growth and healing. I take an integrative approach to healing that considers a mind-body-spirit connection. Rather than focus on the negativities of personal experience, I work with clients to explore their potential for personal expansion.
My studies in SSIA have facilitated a connection with spiritual guidance. I consider this guidance a partnership which aids me in understanding the meaning of individual challenges and the purpose of an individual life journey. Rather than view challenges as symptoms, I view them as indicators of what needs to be transcended. I have faith in the ability of each person to access their higher self and to move into a deeper, more whole level of living. Ultimately the goal of my work is to help clients find peace with self, peace with others and peace with life.
